We are an evangelical church with around 40 members and a congregation of around 100 people of all ages.  We are a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches.  The church building is located at the top end of Magnolia Drive, on Greenstead Estate in Colchester, Essex (England). The church itself has a history going back to 1963, almost as long as the estate's, and our goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the community of Greenstead.

Not sure which meeting to try?  We recommend the Sunday morning service (11 a.m.), or feel free to just drop in and meet us over tea and coffee on Tuesday afternoons, between 2 and 4 p.m.

Students

If you are a student at the University of Essex, then we warmly invite you to join us: we are situated just 2 miles (3 km) from the campus and we can arrange transport to and from the church on Sunday mornings.  Please click here for further details. Most of the sermons preached in our Sunday services are recorded and are available for free download as .mp3 files - just click here for further details.  New series on Romans, John, Psalms and Isaiah have begun, while also available are series on Mark, Abraham and "Ephesians: God's New Society", in addition to individual sermons by various preachers.
