Here is a plan that enables you to read consecutively through whole books of the Bible. It covers the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice within a year. Whole books are read consecutively and (generally) in chronological order, and the shorter New Testament epistles are each read at one sitting. You might like to divide each day’s reading between morning and evening. If you find four chapters a day too much, you could split each reading over two days and thus complete the plan within two years.
